Downing Dogs

Those of you who watched the hot dog eating contest at the T-R during Thanks With Franks Thursday might agree is was a very unique event. The competitors lined and one guy sported a mullet who seemed very proud of it. One guy — who was the ringer in the group having won eating competitions before — and one girl who was not shy to be the only female. There were a few other brave souls willing to give it a try too. Well, the winner was the ringer who downed 10 dogs and buns in three minutes. The girl beat most of the men by putting away eight, although one bun she ate just didn’t want to stay down — which kind of grossed out the dozens in the crowd. Kudos to those willing to do that and thanks for the entertainment.
