| | Action crowd-friendly in MFLOctober 10, 2009 - Andrew PotterI just made my first visit to the Sixth Street fields for a Marshalltown Football League Saturday. I was impressed with the amount of passing and strategy that went on during these youth pigskin games. I also saw some small children deliver some pretty big hits. There was a lot more action than I expected, I even saw a few extra point kicks that were good. I'm working on a future feature story about the MFL as it celebrates it's 35 years. It is definitely a unique and growing league. Admission is free for fans and there are two more Saturdays left in the season. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | |
