| | 'The Office' is becoming a classicOctober 26, 2009 - Andrew Potter‘The Office’ is becoming a classic Remember the powerhouse sitcoms on TV through the years. You had "The Cosby Show," "Cheers" and "Seinfeld" — all are classics in my mind. Watch out but “The Office” is quickly becoming the next classic sitcom. Yes, it has its stinker episodes here and there but it’s a show you can count on to get some good laughs. What makes it key? First off they have done a lot of work on character development. You won’t fine another character like Dwight Schrute in any other show. Michael Scott can be over-the-top weird sometimes but it’s easy to play along with him. It’s documentary-style allows it to expand on the traditional sitcom format and allows viewers a more in-depth look into the characters and what they were thinking in certain situations. The recent Pam and Jim wedding was one of it’s best efforts. Stay tuned for a classic in the making.
