'Valentine's Day' Magic
February 15, 2010 - Pam Rodgers
The movie Valentine's Day was a perfect movie for Chick Flick lovers and wouldn't bore those who go only when forced. It was well acted and the different plot lines were all good. It had comedy, drama, heart-warming happy crying scenes and a few twists that make the movie less predictable. It is yet another Gary Marshall film that I will have to own on DVD when it comes out. The star studded cast complements the great plot lines. It is certainly better than last year's star packed Valentine's Day weekend flick in "He's Just Not that Into You," which is just a horrid waste of 2 hours, but I digress.
I would recommend Valentine's Day. It is the perfect date movie. It gives a glimpse at love in all forms, from young teenage puppy love to being married for 50 years and still adore one another. It's a must-see for romantics. Those who are skeptical because of the title should give it a chance, you might find that you enjoy it. It's an A+ in my book!
