| | The craziest thing I have ever seenFebruary 24, 2010 - Pam RodgersI have been hooked in by the Olympic spirit. I can’t seem to watch anything else. Yesterday and the day before I watched the freestyle skiing — Aerials. The people who do this have to be nuts! They ski up a four meter ramp, get up to about 40 miles an hour, are propelled into the air, do twists, somersaults, backflips as many as they can until they land on they feet. It’s just absolutely crazy. I have never seen anything like. I was vastly intrigued and entertained watching the event. If there was ever an event for an adrenaline junkie, this would be it. After every amazing trick the skier is doing in the air, it doesn’t ever look like he/she could possibly land on his/her feet, but most of the time that’s what happens. I thought the snowboard half pipe was crazy dangerous. To me, the aerial event is even more so. Good luck to those in the event because anyone who can do this kind of sport and still be alive are amazing to me. Go USA! Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article.
