Rain can be a pain

I actually don’t  really mind rain. It’s not as frightening as snow or ice and for the most part, life continues as normal when it rains. That is unless you have outdoor activities that you would like to do, which I do because I’m playing slow-pitch softball this summer. So this week, I don’t care for the rain. Softball games were supposed to start this week and because it rained all day on Wednesday, my team had its first double header canceled. What a bummer.
To tell you the truth, I wouldn’t have as much of a problem with the rain if it weren’t so cold outside. Granted, it’s not freezing, but compared to the last few weeks, it is really cold. I was enjoying the April and May weather, even if it wasn’t necessarily normal for this time of year. I want that weather back, please. Hopefully mother nature will get all of this out of her system, and we can have a pleasant summer.
