Feeling for Colfax

I just can’t help but feel bad for my friends in Colfax.

In my previous job I was in Colfax about once a week covering sporting events for another paper. Not knowing anyone from Iowa when I moved to that job, I always felt comfort in interacting with the people of Colfax. They welcomed me with open arms and there are some great people in that community.

Here’s hoping those good people land on their feet soon.
