Cheerleaders stepped up

I have to give a big shout out to the Marshalltown High School cheerleaders for their efforts during Oktemberfest Thursday night. 

As people were waiting for the coronation ceremony to start, which was delayed a few minutes due to the move inside from the rain, the cheerleaders got the children involved in some songs and dances.

They were able to lighten the mood a bit for the crowd. Then some of the cheerleaders went over to the rainy fun run and cheered on children there.

Nice job cheerleaders. The high school should be proud of your efforts to benefit the community.
