| | A welcome changeFebruary 13, 2011 - Pam RodgersI can see the light at the end of the tunnel. This winter, while not as bad as last year, has gone on long enough. I am now ready for the sights and sounds of spring. This weekend provided the hope I needed that the end of the winter is closer than I thought. I am always a happy camper when the sun returns in the middle of February and starts to melt away the snow. I actually wanted to be outside this weekend, which is a great feeling. I am excited to break-out of the winter coat and enjoy the fresh air. It is crazy how fast snow can disappear. A large drift of snow can be gone in 24 hours if the sun hits it all day. I can actually see the grass underneath all the white stuff. One thing that is a never exciting is the sloppy mess you can have from all the melt. But I will gladly deal with that if the warmer temperatures are going to stay about. Yay spring!! Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | |
