Iowa City police officer honored

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) - An Iowa City police officer who saved a man's life during the flooding in June was honored Monday.



Officer Matthew Huber became the first Iowa City officer to be presented with the Life Saving Commendation.



Huber helped a man who had fallen into Ralston Creek and was floating face down on June 13. Huber entered the creek, turned him over and with the help of bystanders, helped drag the unconscious man to the creek bank.
