December 28, 2007
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
IOWA CITY — Iowa tight end Brandon Myers has pleaded guilty to public intoxication and interference with official acts.

Myers, a 22-year-old junior from Prairie City, was arrested early Sunday in Coralville and was fined $350 after pleading guilty.

Myers caught 21 passes this season for 208 yards including five touchdowns. He replaced injured tight end Tony Moeaki.

Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz declined to comment.

Myers is the 12th member of the 2007 Hawkeyes arrested or cited by police this year.
