Credit crisis will delay IVH project
TIMES-REPUBLICANState Treasurer Michael Fitzgerald said Friday plans for issuing $183 million in bonds will have to be delayed until the credit market loosens.
The bonds were planned to fund several projects, icnlduing the Iowa Veterans Home expansion in Marshalltown. Other projects included in the bonds were prison expansions in Rockwell City and Mitchellville.
Current credit woes are preventing investors from funding bonds at this time, said Fitzgerald.
It could be weeks or even months before the bonds can be issues, added Fitzgerald.

for U.S. Representative, I'm leery of this Garst Seed vs Latham seed bickering. It's just too seedy for me. Neither Greenwald or Latham truly support the troops. I'm casting my ballot via write in for MARINE CORPS VETERAN WILLIAM J. MEYERS for a real world common sense approach. Meyers loves the IVH and has been there more times in the last year than anyone. ***********youtube****/watch?v=8hurk_zJQAs
