Lawrence Spencer, 61, of Marshalltown, died Oct. 9, 2008, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be at a later date. There will be no visitation. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Lawrence's cremation and care.
Surviving are two sons: Demond in California and Curtis in Marshalltown; and his siblings: Frank (Colleen) and Marvin (Theresa) all of Waterloo, Craig (Carol) and Julian, all of Marshalltown.
