She joins a sister, McKenna Ann Coleman. Grandparents are John and Mary Coleman of Marshalltown, and Mary Ann Temesvari of Litchfield, Ohio.

Wes and April Myers of Omaha, Neb., are the parents of a daughter, Emeline Lea Myers, born at 6:03 p.m. on April 24, 2008, at Bergan Mercy Medical Center weighing 6 pounds 7.5 ounces and measuring 19 inches. Grandparents are Dave and Sue Myers, Jeff and Diane Plunkett, and the late Kirk Valentine, all of Marshalltown.

Chad and Brandi Mitchem of Holland, Mich., are the parents of a son, Levi John Mitchem, born at 5:21 p.m. on Nov. 7, 2008, at Zeeland Community Hospital, weighing 8 pounds 7 ounces. He joins a sister, Sara, and brothers, Ryan and Luke. Grandparents are John and Devan Hanson of Holland, Mich., and Ray and Jana Mitchem of Marshalltown. Great-grandmothers are Leona Klepinger and Lucile Mitchem of Marshalltown.

Incidents

On Nov. 12, John Wal, 205 S. 2nd St. Apt. 1A, reported hit and run damage to the driver side door on a 1993 BMW while parked at his residence. Estimated value of damage was $300.

On Nov. 11, Anna Huerta, 511 N. Center St., reported the theft of a car stereo system, 200 CDs and a baby stroller from a 2003 Chevy Tahoe while parked at her residence. Estimated value of loss was $3100.

On Nov. 11, Maria Pina, 522 N. Center St., reported damage to the right front door window and the center dashboard on a 2005 Jeep Renegade while parked at her residence and the theft of a Dual in-dash AM/FM/CD/D car stereo and a Jensen amplifier. Estimated value of loss was $1200.

On Nov. 10, Emmanuel Weah, 105 N. Center St. Apt. #20, reported damage to a wooden door at his apartment and the theft of a Compaq desktop computer, a TV, a Lexmark printer, Ultra Sonic Pro computer speakers, a computer camera a DVD player, assorted clothing and a QWest DSL box for internet. Estimated value of loss was $1839.13.

On Nov. 10, Martin Pantoja-Morales, 203 E. South St., reported damage to the rear back glass, a passenger door window and mirror and all four tires on a Ford Explorer truck while parked at his residence. Estimated value of damage was $600.

On Nov. 9, Jennifer Palmarez, 609 E. Church St., reported hit and run damage to a 1999 Oldsmobile Bravado. Estimated value of damage was $700.

On Nov. 12, John Lee St.Clair, 506 N. 2nd St., was cited for driving while barred.

On Nov. 11, David Joe McCown, Markleville, Ind., was arrested for public intoxication and criminal mischief, 4th degree.

On Nov. 11, Shawna Lynne Groshong, 134 E. Main St. Apt. #328, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

On Nov. 11, David Craig Waltemeyer, 503 E. Boone St., was arrested.

On Nov. 9, Erika Dawn Bracy, 107 S. 6th Ave., was arrested for violation of a no-contact order.

On Nov. 6, Christopher Leroy Akins, 112 N. 1st Ave., was arrested for serious assault.

Accidents

On Nov. 12, a car driven by Christine Louise Neuroth, 1401 S. 7th Ave. Apt. #208, was southbound on Highway 14 attempting to turn left onto South Street when it turned in front of a vehicle driven by Wendy Verdinez, 2552 Smith Ave. Lot #72, and a collision occurred. No injuries were reported. Neuroth was cited for no insurance and failure to yield upon left turn while Verdinez was cited for no license. Damage to the Neuroth car was estimated at $1500 while the Verdinez vehicle received an estimated $3500 in damage.

On Nov. 11, a pickup driven by Michael Allan Diller, 307 Woodbury St., was southbound on Highway 14 when due to slick road conditions it collided with the rear of a car driven by Marion Darlene Barker, 404 N. 4th Ave., which had slowed non-contact parked vehicle in the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Diller pickup was estimated at $500 while the Barker car received an estimated $6000 in damage.

On Nov. 11, a vehicle driven by Jesse Scott Adkins, 209 S. 17th Ave., was westbound on East Nevada Street when due to wet road conditions and poorly lit railroad crossing area it collided with the last gondola car backing up to retrieve a few tanker cars. Adkins was transported to Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center.

On Nov. 11, a vehicle driven by Nyajimma Chot Rik, Des Moines, was westbound on East Anson Street attempting to turn south onto South Center Street when it collided with a Jeep driven by Julie Kay Chaloupek, 2506 Hilltop Dr., which was eastbound on Anson Street crossing Center Street with a green light. No injuries were reported. Rik was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. Damage to the Chaloupek Jeep was estimated at $6000 while the Rik vehicle received an estimated $8000 in damage.

On Nov. 11, a semi driven by Jordan Lee Vandermolen, Sully, was exiting a private driveway at 3901 S. Center St., when it collided with a car driven by Darwin Jimenez Garcia, Des Moines, which was northbound. No injuries were reported. Jimenez Garcia was cited for failure to have a valid driver's license or permit and violation of financial liability-accident. Damage to the Jimenez Garcia car was estimated at $1000 while the Vandermolen semi received an estimated $500 in damage.

On Nov. 11, a truck and trailer driven by Cody Albert Westcott, 1601 Marion St. Apt. #14, was going east in the Swift's parking lot when due to the driver's vision being obscured it collided with the left rear quarter panel of a pickup driven by William Eugene Davis, Liscomb. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Davis pickup was estimated at $2000 while the Westcott truck and trailer received an estimated $100 in damage.

On Nov. 9, a minivan driven by Bradd Alan Quigley, 6 Edgeland Dr., was southbound on South Seventh Street when it went through the intersection with West Linn Street and a collision occurred with a vehicle driven by Alandria Noreen Davison, 3202 S. 12th St. Lot #148, which was travelling east causing the Quigley minivan to roll. Davison was transported to Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. Quigley was cited for driving while license was denied, suspended, revoked or cancelled, failure to obey a stop or yield sign and violation of financial liability-accident. Damage to the Quigley minivan was estimated at $3000 while the Davison vehicle received an estimated $5000 in damage.

Incidents

On Nov. 10, Carrie Susan Cory, Van Cleve, reported the theft of a white gold diamond wedding ring, a yellow gold ruby and diamond ring, a white gold necklace and a hand-held Yhatzee game from her residence. Estimated value of loss was $3590.

On Nov. 8, Carol Louise Morley, 2552 Smith Ave. Lot #142, reported damage to a door and siding at her residence. Estimated value of damage was $350.

Arrests

On Nov. 10, Eric Lyle Luing, Melbourne, was arrested on a local warrant.

On Nov. 9, Michael David Kerber, LeGrand, was arrested for operating while intoxicated and parking on roadway without lights.

On Nov. 9, Rodger Dawayne Gardner, 306 Plaza Heights Rd., was arrested for two counts of failure to appear on a domestic assault and failure to appear on possession of marijuana.

On Nov. 7, Jephthah Clarence Burton, 409 W. Church St., and 1301 Summit St.-Iowa Veteran's Home, was arrested for pretrial violation on operating while intoxicated.

On Nov. 7, William Thomas Enlow, Laurel, was arrested for drunkenness.

On Nov. 7, Susan Marie Brafford, 203 S. 3rd Ave. (Half), was arrested for possession of a Schedule II Controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Nov. 6, Adam Krishna Fevold, Colo, was arrested on a local warrant.
