URBANDALE - Krissy Lankelma improved her dual singles mark to 4-0 and a pair of Bobcat doubles teams won matches during the Marshalltown girls' tennis team's 8-3 cross-conference loss to Urbandale here Tuesday.
Lankelma blanked Stephanie Kite 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1.
In doubles action, Phoebe Ryan and Lizz Heying teamed up for a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 4.
At No. 5, Rachel Smoldt and Allison Sherman triumphed with a tiebreaker, 1-6, 7-5 (10-8).
Lankelma and Kalli Hannam suffered their first doubles loss, 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1.
The J-Hawks lost just eight games combined in singles matches 2-6.
