DIKE - Nora Seda of North Tama fired a 102 to claim medalist honors during the Iowa Star Conference girls' golf meet at the par-72 Fox Ridge Golf Course here Wednesday.
Her counterpart was Jon Tink of Walnut Ridge Baptist Academy, as the two-time defending Class 1A state champion carded a 1-over 73 to lead all boys' scorers.
Don Bosco shot a 448 to take the girls' team crown while Walnut Ridge checked in at 322 for the boys' title.
North Tama placed fifth and GMG eighth in the girls' race; GMG was sixth and North Tama seventh in the boys' standings.
Seda won a playoff over Don Bosco's Julia Monat (102). Redhawk Emily Ewoldt joined Seda inside the top 10, finishing at a fifth-place 110. Tiffany Konicek paced the Wolverines with a 140.
On the boys' side, Don Bosco's Carson Barron earned runner-up medalist honors.
Arley Beane of GMG was a top-10 finisher, shooting an 84 for seventh. Teammate Phillip Fleming was five places and four strokes behind.
Jon Koob's 97 paced the Redhawk boys.
