On Wednesday Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim, 311 Swayze St., reported damage to the right front passenger side window on a 1998 Dodge Neon while parked at 307 Swayze St., and the theft of a AM/FM/CD car stereo. Estimated value of loss was $300.

Citations

On Thursday Lacy Mahala of Albion was cited for theft, 5th degree from Family Dollar, 329 S. 3rd Ave.

Accidents

On Thursday a car driven by Beverley Kaye Ruopp, 1108 W. Boone St., was westbound on East Anson Street when it entered the intersection with South First Avenue on a red light and a collision occurred with a vehicle driven by Tina Marie Galvez-Barragan, 913 S. 3rd Ave., which was traveling north on First Avenue. Galvez-Barragan received injuries, but was not treated or transported. Ruopp was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. Damage to the Galvez-Barragan vehicle was estimated at $100 while the Ruopp car received an estimated $1,500 in damage.

Arrests

On Tuesday Michael Larry Sherman of Des Moines was arrested for pre-trial violation.

Accidents

On Monday a car driven by Elaine Emma Robins of Clemons was westbound on WEst Main Street Road at the Eastman Avenue curve when the driver hit the accelerator instead of the brake causing the Robins car to enter the ditch. Robins received possible injuries, but was not treated or transported. Damage to the Robins car was estimated at $4,000 while a street sign belonging to the Marshall County Road Department received an estimated $50 in damage.
