Incidents
On Tuesday Adis Muminovic, 1702 Edgebrook Dr. Apt. #4, reported hit and run damage to the rear of a 2003 Buick LeSabre while parked at Swift & Company, 402 N. 10th Ave. Estimated value of damage was $800.
On Monday Calob Lee Climer, 504 N. 1st St. (Half), reported damage to the driver side front window on a 1997 Mercury Tracer while parked at his residence and the theft of a Hart subwoofer and a Pioneer CD player. Estimated value of loss was $370.
On Monday Juan Carlos Ibarra-Saldana, 903 S. 12th St., reported the theft of an amplifier, two MTX subwoofers, a garage door opener, an impact drill and a Nintendo DS game system from a 2002 GMC Yukon while parked at his residence. Estimated value of loss was $421.81.
On Monday Maria Barvara Ornelas, 307 S. 1st St. Apt. #4, reported damage to the driver side front window on a 2004 Jeep Liberty while parked at her residence and the theft of a black purse with contents, a Polaroid digital camera, makeup and keys. Estimated value of loss was $455.
Arrests
On Tuesday Trevor Leighton Muller, 1409 W. Main St., was arrested for interference with official acts.
Accidents
On Sunday an unknown vehicle and driver sideswiped the driver side of a 1999 Buick Century which was legally parked in the 1000 block of Jackson Street. Damage to the legally parked car was estimated at $1,500.
On Saturday a car driven by Jesus Alvarez, 207 S. 3rd St. Apt. #2, was westbound on East Nevada Street when it collided with the rear of a pickup driven by Brant Eugene Luense, 408 W. State St., which had slowed for another vehicle turning. No injuries were reported. Alvarez was cited for operating while intoxicated, no driver license, no insurance-accident related and failure to stop in a safe and sure distance. Damage to the Alvarez car was estimated at $5,000 while the Luense pickup received an estimated $1,800 in damage.
On Saturday a minivan driven by Kossi Alomenyo Banissan, 405 Sharon Ave., was westbound on State Street when it went through a stop sign and collided with a car driven by Lester George Flathers, 201 N. 12th Ave., which was traveling north on 12th Avenue. No injuries were reported. Banissan was cited for failure to obey a stop or yield sign. Damage to the Banissan minivan was estimated at $500 while the Flathers car received an estimated $2,000 in damage.
On Friday vehicles driven by Holly Ann Harvey, 110 Marion St., and Cathy Lynn Arthur, 9 Crestview Dr., were exiting parking spots in the Wal-Mart lot, 2802 S. Center St., when they collided. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Arthur car was estimated at $1,000.
On Tuesday a car driven by Sara Elizabeth Broussard, 408 N. 12th Ave., was eastbound on East Anson Street at the intersection with South First Avenue when due to a semi which was facing west and in the inside lane signalling the driver to make her turn left the Broussard car attempted its turn and crossed in the path of a vehicle driven by Caleb Daniel Willsher, 106 Sharon Ave., which was coming into the intersection traveling west in the outside lane and a collision occurred. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Broussard car was estimated at $300 while the Willsher vehicle received an estimated $1,000 in damage.
