Gladbrook-Reinbeck had four first-team performers on the all-Class 1A District 3 football team.
The Rebels were represented by linebacker Eli Bean, defensive linemen Rob Heise and Evan Stoakes, and defensive back Logan Petersen. Petersen also was the all-district kicker.
Grundy Center had three first-teamers as well as the all-district punter. Wide receiver Trevor Hook, offensive lineman Nathan Lyman and linebacker Jordan Noteboom were the Spartans' trio on the first team. Levi Ross, the Class 1A leader in punting average, was the all-district punter.
Tight end Brandon Reinberg of BCLUW was the lone Comet on the first team.
South Winneshiek's Jordan Andera was the Offensive MVP, while Turkey Valley's Mitch Balik earned Defensive MVP honors. The two schools tied for the district crown.
