If you have always dreamed of winning a new car, now's your chance. The Marshalltown Times-Republican and local Chevrolet dealer Clemons, Inc. have joined other newspapers belonging to the Times-Republican's family of newspapers as well as other auto dealers in those newspaper markets to give away a new car to some lucky winner.
General Motors is on the brink of releasing for sale its new, sporty, small car, the Chevy Cruze, and the very first one to roll off the production line made for retail sale could end up in the Marshalltown area. Here is how readers can have a chance to win this historic car.
In today's newspaper, Clemons, Inc. has published an entry blank within its advertisement that can be filled out and deposited at the dealership for a chance to win the new Cruze. Entries must be on official entry forms published in the newspaper. No photo copies will be allowed, however no purchase is necessary. If readers want a free entry form, stop by the newspaper during business hours and request a Cruze give-away entry form. The entries must be deposited at Clemons between now and Oct. 11 with the winner to be drawn on Oct. 15. At that time, only the winning community will be announced. Currently, newspapers in 14 Times-Republican sister newspaper markets are participating in the chance to win the car. The newspaper in the winning community will then notify the lucky winner.
The following markets across the country will participate in the giveaway: Warren, Lisbon, Tiffin, Salem and East Liverpool in Ohio; Marquette, Alpena and Iron Mountain in Michigan; Dunkirk, N.Y.; Altoona, Warren and Lewistown in Pennsylvania; Marshalltown, Iowa; and Cape Coral, Fla.
"We are fortunate to be able to offer our readers a chance to win this beautiful automobile," said Mike Schlesinger, Times-Republican publisher.
"We appreciate that Clemons, Inc. is willing to help with this exciting giveaway. It would be great to be able to surprise someone right here in the Marshalltown area with a brand new Cruze."
