Cynthia Regalado would like to be a teacher someday. It seems she already fits nicely in the classroom.

The Fisher Elementary School fourth grade student has impressed her teacher with her work on a daily basis from handwriting to reading to math.

"Her work is always top notch," said her teacher CeCe Duff. "It's absolutely beautiful."

Duff said there's no secret as to why Regalado's work is good, it's because she works at it.

"She is one of those kids you can expect to go above and beyond the average student," Duff said. "That's just the way Cynthia is."

Regalado said one day she would like to be a teacher, "because I would like to teach kids math."

Her teacher feels she's got a head start on whatever she wants to achieve in life.

"I think whatever she puts her mind to she'll be able to do," Duff said. "She's just wonderful."
