The next great inventor?

Fourth grade student has big dreams

Big dreams?

Yeah, Hoglan Elementary School fourth grader Vyshnavi Gade has got them.

At just 9 years old, she seems determined to make a difference in the world.

"When I grow up I want to invent something nobody has invented before," she said.

Gade has already done research on the great inventors in the history of the world such as Leonardo da Vinci.

Before she can change the world, she first must lay the groundwork of her knowledge in school, which is something that has impressed her teacher at Hoglan, Ryan Burke.

"She really likes to go above and beyond and learn difficult skills," Burke said. "She expects a lot of herself."

Gade said her parents inspire her to think big. Her enthusiasm for learning also translates into her being a good fellow student in class.

"I want to encourage other people," Gade said.
