Le Grand's Pioneer Days festival will return Saturday with a special visitor - another festival.
The Lincoln Highway Tour of cars will make a stop in Le Grand during the day as one of many events planned for Pioneer Days.
"It's exciting," said Pioneer Days organizer Linda Weitzell. "They are from all over the state."
The Lincoln Highway Tour is expected to be in Le Grand from 12:15 to 1:45 p.m. Aside from the cars in town during the tour, there will also be the popular car show downtown, which features dozens of unique rides on display.
Prior to all the cars on display, Pioneer Days will roll off its parade at 11 a.m. and it is expected to include 50 entries. Those interested in being active can enter in the 5K run or walk or the bike ride in the morning.
The afternoon the action is centered around the city park with musical performances, competitions, food vendors and other special events.
"It's a family event," Weitzell said. "That's what our intentions are is a fun-filled day."
There will also be the family of Adam and Jill Todd dressed up like the Ingalls family to go along with the pioneer theme.
"We try to get something new every year so people don't have the same old thing," Weitzell said.
Fireworks will light up the sky in town at 9 p.m. followed by a street dance with a DJ and karaoke at the bar.
