Arrests

On Feb. 22, Paul James Hopkins, 713 N. 5th Ave., was arrested for failure to appear.

On Feb. 22, Deven Ray Spinks, of Boone, was arrested for failure to appear.

On Tuesday, Feb. 21, Derek Matthew Curley, 206 S. 5th St., was arrested for probation revocation.

On Feb. 20, Joel Vance Halter, of Rhodes, was arrested for possession of a Schedule I Controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Feb. 20, Michael James Grandstaff, 533 N. 3rd St. Apt. A, was arrested for failure to serve jail sentence, driving while license is suspended and operating while intoxicated, second offense.

On Feb. 19, Dagoberto Estrada-Martinez, of Sioux City, was arrested for failure to serve jail sentence and failure to appear.

On Feb. 17, Darin Christian Lewis, of Waterloo, was arrested for probation revocation.

On Feb. 13, Jared Alvin Kupka, of Clutier, was arrested violation of no-contact.

Accidents

On Feb. 23, a vehicle driven by Rebecca Sue Kinnamon, of State Center, was eastbound on 230th Street just west of Lafayette Avenue when it hit a slushy spot and went out of control entering the south ditch, impacting the ditch and rolling over coming to rest in the ditch. Kinnamon and passenger Dain Winterton, of State Center, were transported to Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. Damage to the Kinnamon vehicle was estimated at $8,000.
