On Sunday, Devante Vashonne Stewart, 1407 S. 17th Ave., and the Bethel Mission Shelter, was arrested for absence from custody.
On Sunday, Dallas Joseph Cashman, of Huxley, was arrested for operating while intoxicated and failure to maintain control.
On Sunday, Alfred Paul Patrick Healey, of Liscomb, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order.
On Feb. 24, Shawn Edward Anderson, 2511 Reyclif Dr., was arrested for probation violation.
On Feb. 23, Bryant Jameson Bear, of Tama, was arrested for failure to appear.
On Saturday, a vehicle driven by Kade Anthony Maxwell, 206 N. 22nd St., was southbound on South 18th Avenue where it intersects with Burns Road when it was traveling too fast for the conditions and it slid through the stop sign leaving the traveled portion of the roadway and entered the ditch where it came to rest. No injuries were reported. Maxwell was cited for failure to maintain control. Damage to the front end of the Maxwell vehicle was estimated at $1,500.
On Feb. 24, a car driven by Martha Ann Eggers, 514 N. 14th Ave., was eastbound on Highway 30 when it went out of control due to the icy road conditions, entered the south ditch, continued eastbound striking a culvert and crossing a private driveway before coming to rest in the south ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Eggers car was estimated at $1,500.
On Feb. 24, a vehicle driven by Iep Duong, of Oskaloosa, was southbound on Zeller Avenue/Highway 146 when, due to the icy road conditions, it went out of control, crossed the center line, entered the east ditch, struck a building marked 3301 310th St., and came to rest in the east ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Duong vehicle was estimated at $2,500.
Marshalltown Police Department
On Wednesday, Taylor Clark McBurney, of Iowa City, reported the theft of a Kindle Fire with case, an IPod Classic, a HP laptop computer and two college books. Estimated value of loss was $1,170.
On Wednesday, Dustin Gene Williams, 134 E. Main St. Apt. #812, was arrested for simple assault, disorderly conduct and spitting in a police vehicle.
Marshall County Courthouse
Emerson T. Brown, of Tama, made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. The court appointed Merrill Swartz to represent him in this case. The Parole Revocation Hearing will be scheduled by the Department of Correctional Services as their calendar permits. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.
Dustin G. Williams, 134 E. Main St. Apt. #812, made an initial appearance on a simple assault charge, a spitting in a police vehicle charge and a disorderly conduct charge. He pleaded not guilty and a Pre-Trial Conference is set for 9 a.m. on April 3 in Magistrate Court. Bond was set at $300 cash only. Williams asked for a Bond Review. A no-contact order was issued for the protected party.

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a smoke or odor removal at 4 E. Marion St., an extrication of victims at 2020 Marsh Ave., a good intent call to 408 N. 17th St., and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 1014 S. 10th Ave., 1301 Summit St., and 503 E. Linn St.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to seven medical assists with the EMS crew to: 106 S. 16th St., 1404 W. Lincolnway, 3202 S. 12th St., 1002 S. 9th Ave., 1702 S. 7th Ave., 106 W. Webster St., and 101 W. Iowa Ave.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a smoke detector activation/no fire to 112 College Dr., a good intent call to 105 W. Boone St., and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 609 E. Main St., 1702 S. 4th St., and 203 E. High St.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to two extrication of victims on Highway 30 and on Iowa Avenue and a medical assist to 503 E. Linn St.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a dispatched/cancelled en route to 503 E. Linn St., and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 1013 S. 10th Ave., 1702 S. 4th St., and 802 S. Center St.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a carbon monoxide incident at 13 N. 9th Ave., an arching/shorted electrical equipment incident at 208 S. 3rd Ave., and two medical assists with the EMS crew to 2510 S. 6th St., and 709 Noble St.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to two dispatched/cancelled en routes to 710 Noble St., and 178 Highway 30 West, an extrication of victims from vehicle at 3100 block of Hart Avenue, and six medical assists with the EMS crew to: 215 N. 2nd Ave., 122 E. Main St., 1 E. Main St., 501 E. Main St., 2101 Governor Rd., and 909 1/2 E. South St.
