On June 13, Rodolfo Madrid Torres, 803 Bromley St., reported the theft of cash in the amount of $200.
On June 13, a staffer at Marshalltown High School, 1600 S. 2nd Ave., reported damage to a classroom window in a burglary attempt. Estimated value of damage was $300.
On June 12, Cecil Albert Buschbom, 1511 S. 5th St., reported the theft of an Apple Macbook, a .357 Magnum revolver, a .22 Ruger pistol, seven keys, two negotiable checks and a license plate from his residence. Estimated value of loss was $2,825.

On June 13, William Howard Koppen, 1401 S. 17th Ave., was arrested for motor vehicle theft.
On June 13, Kenneth Lee Underwood, 1016 S. 11th Ave., was arrested for operating while intoxicated, first offense.
On June 13, Tyler John Rundall, 205 N. 13th St., was arrested for violation of a no-contact order.
On June 13, Michael Wayne Foreman, 114 N. Center St. Apt. #2, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order.
On June 11, Jennifer A. Richey, 403 S. 2nd St., was arrested for theft, third degree.
On June 13, a car driven by Angela Marie Hofer, of Albion, was westbound on Ferner Street at the intersection with South Center Street when it proceeded onto Center Street and collided with a vehicle driven by Gabriela Noemi Paz, 312 N. 1st St. Apt. #3, which was traveling north on Center Street. No injuries were reported. Hofer was cited for failure to yield upon entering a through highway. Damage to the Hofer car was estimated at $5,000 while the Paz vehicle received an estimated $6,000 in damage.
On June 11, a minivan driven by Orville Roy Steveson, 1002 S. 9th Ave., was northbound on South Ninth Avenue at the intersection with East Anson Street when it failed to yield at the stop sign and entered the intersection where it collided with a pickup driven by Hector Alejandro Yanez Flores, 3202 S. 12th St. Lot #211, which was traveling east on Anson Street. Yanez Flores was transported to Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center and Steveson was injured, but not treated at the scene or transported. Damage to the Steveson minivan was estimated at $5,000 while the Yanez Flores pickup received an estimated $6,000 in damage.

On Thursday, May 17, a car driven by Larryn Craig, age 21, of Wellsburg, was eastbound on 200th Street east of K Avenue when it went out of control, entered the north ditch and rolled into a field. No injuries were reported. Craig was cited for failure to maintain control. Damage to the Craig car was estimated at $8,000.
