Leadership needs to evolve for peace

I listened to a speech on my computer by a noted Jewish leader, Amos Oz, at the J Street annual banquet, held in February of this year in Washington, D. C. Mr. Oz says current polls have been taken showing 70 percent of Jews favor a two state solution, if peace is ever to be achieved.

Polls taken by Palestinians show 70 percent of Palestinians favor a two state solution, if peace is to be achieved. The problem, according to Mr. Oz, as to why peace is not taking place, is because of poor leadership on both sides. Let's hope and pray that leadership can evolve and peace can take place. Let us hope and pray that our political leaders will begin to listen

to one another and peace can be achieved in the Middle East. Another problem - 21,500 people become millionaires because of our war industry, in America and Israel.
