Marcella Emily Thomas, 92, of Garwin, died Wednesday morning, Aug. 29, 2012, at the Westbrook Acres in Gladbrook while in their loving care and that of Iowa River Hospice.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Garwin Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. For condolences, please visit www.mitchellfh.com.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Ann (Dick) Hauser, of Liscomb, and Mary Kay (John) Rose, of Stewart, Fla., her six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, her sister Maxine (Toby) Clough, of Garwin, and Danny (Joyce) Starits, of Garwin, as well as many nieces and nephews.
