CEDAR RAPIDS - The Marshalltown divers took three of the top four spots and junior Therese Kuhlman won the 100-yard butterfly Thursday during action in Cedar Rapids.
However, the Bobcats came up on the losing end of a 112.5-73.5 score against Cedar Rapids Washington.
Kathleen McHenry and Kristina Nugent came within .25 points of each other in diving as McHenry took first place with 177.35 points and Nugent was second at 177.10 points. Phoebe Lynk also scored points for the Bobcats as she finished fourth with 165.5 points.
The only other win on the night came from Kuhlman in the 100 butterfly as she hit the wall with a winning time of 1 minute, 6.7 seconds. Kuhlman also was second in the 100 breaststroke as she finished in 1:18.47 and was a part of two second-place relay finishes.
Junior Chloe Kuehner also placed second in two different individual events and two relay events. Kuehner was second in the 200-meter IM as she finished in 2:22.99 and was second in the 500 freestyle, hitting the wall in 5:52.09.
The other top individual finisher was Leah Barkema, who took second in the 50 and 100 freestyle events. Barkema hit the wall in the 50 in 26.98 and in 100 in 59.50. Barkema also was second in two relays, while freshman Alexis Schneider was on all three second-place relay teams.

The Bobcats top relay teams took second in all three events.
The medley relay team included Barkema, Kuehner, Kuhlman and Schneider and the foursome hit the wall in 2:00.78. That same team swam in the 400 freestyle relay and finished in 4:02.41.
Schneider also was in the 200 freestyle relay and was grouped with Melisa Fonseca, Maggie Carnahan and Darc Vopava as the team hit the wall in 1:54.40.
Fonseca also placed third in the 200 freestyle, while Brianna Reynolds and Raechal Hannam took third in the 100 backstroke and 100 breaststroke, respectively.
The Marshalltown swimmers will return to the pool Tuesday and will take on Mason City starting at 6 p.m.
