Mass of Christian Burial services for Joseph S. August were held at 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Jim Miller as Celebrant. A private family burial service was held at Riverside Cemetery with full military honors provided by Harry C. Harter VFW Post #839.
Groups in attendance were Elmwood Country Club members and employees, Fisher employees and the Iowa PGA.
Pursel Davis Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
