ELDORA - Today is the final day to register for the South Hardin Athletic Boosters Golf Tournament, which will be held Sept. 22 at the Hubbard Golf & Recreation Club.
The four-person best shot event has a 1 p.m. shotgun start, and there will be a meal following the tournament. Cost is $35 per person.

Bobcat football freshmen fall to Ames
The Marshalltown freshman football team suffered a 34-6 defeat at the hands of rival Ames on Thursday at Leonard Cole Field.
The Bobcats' lone touchdown came on a 43-yard interception return by Alex Guido.
Peyton Williams finished 14-for-28 for 126 yards passing, with Sam Arneson leading the receivers with four grabs for 52 yards. Jordan Banes had 12 rushing attempts for 63 yards for the Bobcats.
