Tuesday

Rebecca Jones, of Tama, made an initial appearance via video on a violation of pre-trial release charge. A jury trial is set for 9 a.m. on Dec. 13. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety.

Erica Velez, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a interference with official acts charge. She pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is set for 9 a.m. on Oct. 23. Velez was released on her own recognizance.

Magistrate Court

Armando Lopez, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due immediately.

Kayla Ocampo, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a public consumption charge. She pleaded guilty and was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due immediately.

Holly Puckett, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge, a no insurance charge and a speeding charge. She pleaded guilty to all charges. On the driving under suspension charge and the no insurance charge the fine was $250 each with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50 each, due immediately. The speeding fine was $80 with a $28 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $168, due immediately.

Colleen Dolan, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a hosting a party where minor's consumed alcohol charge. She pleaded guilty and was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due immediately.

Trinity Rosales, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $25 with a $8.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $93.75, due immediately.

Maria E. Gomez, 4 E. Webster St., made an initial appearance on a fraudulent practices fifth-degree charge. She pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is set for 9 a.m. on Oct. 23. The court ordered that she go to the Marshalltown Police Department following the initial appearance to be photographed and fingerprinted.

Gregory Harrison, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $25 with a $8.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $93.75, due immediately.

Ashley Bracy, of Monroe, made an initial appearance on a theft, fifth-degree charge. She pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is set for 9 a.m. on Oct. 23. Bracy was released on her own recognizance.

Incidents

On Monday, William Lee Hobson, 2580 250th St., reported scratch damage to the side of a building at his residence. Estimated value of damage was $200.

Arrests

On Sept. 16, Jason Allen Weaver, of Albion, was arrested for operating while intoxicated, first offense.

On Sept. 16, Heidi Lynne Giesking, of Albion, was arrested for public intoxication.

On Friday, Lori Pauline Wages, 2511 Reed Ave., was arrested for aggravated domestic assault and interference with official acts.

On Thursday, Megan Joyce Kutzner, 406 W. State St. Apt. #1, was arrested for failure to appear on a child endangerment and probation violation.

On Sept. 8, Roger Wayne Lenox, of Le Grand, was arrested for trespass of real property.

Accidents

On Saturday, a car driven by Patrick Lee Milleson, of Colo, was eastbound on Highway 30 when, due to the driver losing consciousness, the vehicle went into the south ditch and into a small creek bed. Milleson was transported to Mercy Hospital with possible injuries. Damage to the Milleson car was estimated at $3,000.

On Thursday, a car driven by Betty Lou Cave, 513 N. 1st St., was eastbound on 190th Street when it struck a deer that entered the traveled portion of the roadway causing moderate damage to the front of the car. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Cave car was estimated at $2,500.
