One man was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 14 south of Marshalltown this afternoon.
A gravel truck and pickup collided near the 2600 mile marker of the highway around 1 p.m.
The driver of the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was transported with injuries to Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center.
The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the crash. Marshall County Sheriff's Office deputies are also on scene. No further details were immediately released.
