A new addition is joining the traditional Marshalltown autumn celebration this year.
Marshall Town Center host more than 40 vendors at its new "Malltemberfest Market" on Saturday.
Susan Schuett-Krough, marketing coordinator, who is responsible for organizing 'Malltemberfest Market' and hand-picking the vendors promises variety and hopes it will become an annual event.
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. fall shoppers will be able to browse through the goods including: quilts, rugs, clothing, handbags, jewelry, woodworking, stained glass and fall foods.
Additionally, Rich Casciato will be performing live. He is the Iowa Rock n' Roll Music Association's 2012 hall of fame inductee; and also known as Des Moines' Guitar Center's "King of Blues" for the past three years.
"This event is part of our initiative to revitalize the mall and draw support from the community," said Ken Huge, Marshall Town Center's general manager. "Susan has done a great job of lining up a wide variety of vendors and merchandise."
