Magistrate Court

Ryan Chaplin, 205 W. Nevada St., made an initial appearance on a possession of a Schedule I controlled substance charge, a possession of a Schedule II controlled substance charge, possession of drug paraphernalia charge and interference with official acts charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his cases. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on Oct. 17. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

Darrell Demetrius Glass, 1003 Jackson St., made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due immediately.

Gordon Michael Riendeau, 202 1/2 N. 12th St., made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $100 with a $160 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $320, due immediately.

Alexis Marie Mathews, 408 Pleasantview Rd., made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge and a possession of a Schedule I controlled substance charge. The court appointed the public defender's office to represent her in these cases. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on Oct. 26. Mathews was released on her own recognizance.

Skylier Ross Makes Room For Them, of Toledo, made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due immediately.

Victor Eugene Casali, 206 Nicholas Dr. Apt. #35, made an initial appearance on a assault charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his case. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on Oct. 26. A no-contact order was issued for the protected party.

Wednesday

Court

Leydia Mejia, 803 Woodbury St., made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on Oct. 29. Mejia will represent herself before the court. Mejia was released on her own recognizance.

Antonio Ambriz, address unknown, has a preliminary hearing set for 1 p.m. on Oct. 29 on a operating while intoxicated first-offense charge. David Nadler will represent him in this case before the court.

Brian Frederick Gray, 918 S. 1st Ave., made an initial appearance on a possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, marijuana, charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his cases. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on Oct. 29. Gray was released on his own recognizance. The court ordered that he obtain a substance abuse evaluation and submit the results to the court within 60 days.

Angel Marie White, 403 N. 12th Ave., made an initial appearance on a violation of probation conditions charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle her case. The probation revocation hearing is set for 2 p.m. on Nov. 21. Bond will continue as posted.
