Occupation: Doctor of chiropractic at Marshalltown's Bantz Chiropractic Center.

What that means: Chiropractic involves specific joint adjustments that restore proper motion to those joints, alleviating pain and inflammation. It can be utilized to reduce pain or as a maintenance and prevention option for health care. It is safe and effective for all age groups, from infants to elderly. If I could change jobs ... : I definitely love what I do, but I've always thought it would be cool to be a bullpen catcher in the majors.

Best part of living here: The people - everyone's been great. We've made a terrific group of friends here.

Most influential persons: My wife and son. Megan has supported me through a lot, and Luke gives me that drive to do better every day.

Community involvement: Marshalltown Young Professionals executive board member, volunteer Marshalltown High School wrestling coach, Heartland Grapplers youth wrestling coach, Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA T-ball coach, Night of the Stars committee.

Advice on life: I'm a firm believer of 'you get out what you put in', you cannot expect everything if you haven't given everything. Strive for greatness!
