Fisher/Emerson announces recent promotions

Denny Cahill will be taking on the new role of Vice President, Global Service for the Fisher Business Unit. He spent the last 10 years leading the Instrument & Valve Services business in North America. Cahill is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in business administration and received his MBA from Iowa in 2001. Cahill has been with Fisher since 1978.

Jerry Major will be taking on the role of Vice President, Instrument & Valve Services- North America replacing Denny Cahill. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from University of Minnesota and an MBA degree in business Arizona State University. Major first joined Fisher in 1999.

Chad Engle has been promoted to director, nuclear business for Fisher. He joined the Fisher organization in 1996 in the Test & Evaluation group after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University. He received his MBA from Iowa State in 2001.

Promoted to replace Chad Engle as director, engineering - engineered products is Jason Olberding. Olberding started with Fisher as a co-op engineering student in January 2000 and was hired full-time as a Design Engineer after graduating from Iowa State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently pursuing his M.B.A. through the University of Iowa.

Bill Fitzgerald will be moving into the role of Vice President, Nuclear Service for North America. Fitzgerald is a graduate of Iowa State University with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering. He also received an MBA degree from Southern Methodist University. He has broad experience across the business and has served in Engineering, Service, Sales and Business Development roles over his 33 year career.
