FOREST CITY - A 12-ace serving performance propelled the Marshalltown Community College volleyball team (14-20) past the Waldorf College junior varsity in three sets on Wednesday night as the Tigers won 25-20, 25-13, 25-23.
Mady Van Metre controlled the net for the Tigers with 23 kills, Tanya Literski delivered 36 assists and Ashley Salgado added 22 digs for MCC.
The Tigers will be hosting the ICCAC Showcase this weekend as they face off against DMACC at 11 am. Friday.
