Max Klootwyk, 86, of Cottonwood, Ariz., died October 23, 2012. He was born September 26, 1926 in Newton, Iowa, the son of William and Christiana Klootwyk.
He attended schools in Newburg, Iowa and Kellogg, Iowa High School.
Klootwyk is survived by his wife Hazel; a son Norm of Cottonwood; daughters Linda (Vern) of Texas and Chris (Steve) of Colorado; a stepdaughter Cyril and a a stepson Travis of Arizona; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 28 in the chapel of the Verde Baptist Church, 102 S. Willard St., Cottonwood, Ariz. at 2 p.m.
