We want to take this opportunity to say thanks to the Alliant Energy crew from Marshalltown that restored our power recently. We live in Stone Ridge, a rural area in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains in New York State. There were numerous power outages caused by hurricane Sandy, and thanks to good planning by our local utility company, and the prompt response by Alliant and its workers, our outage was minimized. We had the opportunity to say meet the guys when they stopped at the end of our driveway and planned their next repair. We thank these fine workers and wish them a safe visit and return trip home.
