Funeral services for Don E. Pfantz, 85, of Melbourne, were held on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, State Center with Pastor Mike Maddick officiating. He was laid to rest in the Melbourne Cemetery, Melbourne, with Full Military Honors by the American Legion Frank Lewis Glick Post #46 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Harry C. Harter Post #839.
Pallbearers were Zach Pfantz, Brant Pfantz, Nick Pfantz, Josh Pfantz, Alex Blood and Chase White.
Honorary Pallbearers were Harold Bales, Alan DeJong. Bryan DeJong, Eugene Goodman, Denny Pfantz, Garry Pfantz, Terry White and Eugene Damman.
Family and friends were in attendance.
The Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with his arrangements.
