Funeral services for Wendell Straka, 75, of Marshalltown, formerly of rural Garwin, were held on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Shomo officiating.
He was laid to rest in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jerry Dean Peshel, Bob Tichy, Tracy Tichy, David Beane, Mark Groth and M. Dean Mitchell.
Groups from the Le Grand High School Class of 1955, Embers and Union Pacific Railroad were in attendance.
The Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with his arrangements.
