Police have released the name of the Marshalltown man struck by a train under the Center Street viaduct early Wednesday morning.
Edwin Lugo, 38, remains in the intensive care unit at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines after being trapped under the engine of a Union Pacific Railroad train.
Lugo suffered multiple major injuries.
Police will continue the investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
