Sharon Krosch, 56, of rural Marshalltown, died on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at Israel Hospice Home in Ames, with her loving husband Mike and her mother Colleen by her side. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at a later date. Sharon Michaeline Baldassini was born on Dec. 15, 1955, in San Diego, Calif.; she was the daughter of Kelley and Colleen (Clancy) Baldassini. Sharon had attended school in the area of her birth graduating from Helix High School in San Diego with the class of 1974. She graduated from college with an associate of arts as Sigma Cum Laude. On Nov. 23, 1996 Sharon was united in marriage to Michael Krosch in Las Vega, Nev. She resided in Lake Tahoe, and Las Vegas, Nev. Most recently in Illinois and for the last three years rural Marshalltown. Sharon worked in the grocery business for a number of years and also as a teacher's aide. Since living in Marshalltown, she was a member and secretary of the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center Ladies Auxiliary. Sharon was a very talented and creative person, she loved to sew, quilt, knit, paint, loved outdoor gardening and always enjoyed her computer. She also loved people, swimming, boating, fishing, camping and in her earlier years, hiking.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 16 years, Michael; his family; her mother, Colleen Baldassini; a brother, Shannon Michael Baldassinni and many nieces and nephews.
In heaven Sharon rejoins her father, Kelley.
