ELDORA - Kayla Prosser scored in double digits for the seventh straight game, tallying 19 points to lead South Hardin to a 49-38 victory over East Marshall in NICL West Division play on Friday night.
Julie Schwartz added a season-high eight points and Sarah Boomgarden had seven for the Tigers (4-5, 3-2), who ended a two-game losing skid.
Kristen Amendt had nine points and five steals to lead East Marshall (1-8, 0-5). Paige Miller added eight points and Meriel Leavy had six points and a team-best six rebounds.
The Mustangs host BCLUW on Tuesday in its Coaches vs. Cancer game. South Hardin entertains Grundy Center.
Janesville 50, North Tama 44
JANESVILLE - Janesville rallied from a three-point halftime deficit by outscoring North Tama 16-9 in the third quarter on its way to a 50-44 victory in Iowa Star Conference action.
Kendyl Sorge led a balanced Wildcat offense with nine points. Victoria Leyh added eight for Janesville (7-1, 6-0), which won its seventh straight.
Allison Zobel had team-highs of 17 points, seven steals, six rebounds and three assists for North Tama (2-6, 2-4). Aryn Isenhower scored a career-high 12 points to go with four steals. Josie Youel and Anna Kvidera both scored six points.
North Tama travels to Tripoli on Tuesday.
Clarksville 64, GMG 23
CLARKSVILLE - Hannah Poppe scored a season-high 23 points to lead previously ranked Clarksville (6-1, 5-1) to a 64-23 victory over winless GMG in Friday's Iowa Star Conference contest.
Olivia Barritt had nine points and 10 rebounds to lead GMG (0-8, 0-6). Mikaella Koster added five points and Autumn Rosacker four for the Wolverines, who play today at Montezuma.
