TAMA - Marlys "Molly" DeVonne Parks, 85, of Tama, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 at Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama. Funeral Services will be held Friday, Dec. 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Survivors include her husband, Oran "Junior" Parks of Tama; three children, Pam (Ron) Horbach of Garland, TX, Steve (Theresa) Slagle of Toledo, and Jeff (Ronee) Slagle of Tama; two step-daughters, Terri Lynn (Barry) Papesh of Tama, and Joni Parks of Crossville, TN; her grandchildren, Mark (Kristin) Spear, Angie (Rod) Cory, Shannon Konicek, Tara Slagle, Steven Slagle, Tyler Slagle, and Ian Slagle; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established.
