The equipment has been ordered, and a new Starbucks store is on the way to be located inside Hy-Vee in Marshalltown.
A big "Starbucks coming soon" sign came out at Hy-Vee Friday afternoon, the last day of the Bank of the West location in front of the store, where the new coffee shop will be located.
Hy-Vee Store Director Ric Anderson said they contacted Starbucks about a possible location after they heard the bank was closing.

Stephen Larson, perishables manager at Marshalltown Hy-Vee, tapes a sign at the future location of Starbucks at the store Friday. It will be in the former Bank of the West location at the store and it is expected to open in mid-April.
Starbucks is located in several other Hy-Vee stores and will continue the relationship in Marshalltown. Anderson expects the coffee chain store to be open sometime in mid-April.
He said the equipment and interior is set to arrive in March and will take approximately two weeks to be put together.
"We're pretty excited," Anderson said.
Anderson said the Starbucks store will employ six to eight people in a combination of full-time and part-time positions. It will be operated by Hy-Vee under the guidelines of Starbucks.
"We think it will be a good fit for us," Anderson said.
