Brian and Ashley Ladehoff are the parents of a daughter, Tenley Elise Ladehoff, born at 9:41 p.m. Feb. 22 at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center in Marshalltown weighing 8 pounds 11 ounces and measuring 20 inches long. Tenley joins big sister Eden, 2. Grandparents are Gary and Suzanne Krause, of Conrad; Ron Ladehoff, of Conrad; and Nancy Ladehoff, of West Des Moines.

Benjamin and Charissa Rees, of Ames, are the parents of a son, Sullivan Immanuel Rees, born at 12:34 a.m. Feb. 14 at Mary Greeley Medical Center weighing 7 pounds 2 ounces and measuring 21 inches long. Grandparents are Charles and Nancy Rees, of Marshalltown, and great-grandmother Luella Weber, of Marshalltown.

Josh and Becky DeBower, of Norwalk, are the parents of a son, Samuel Carl DeBower, born at 2:45 p.m., Jan. 24, at Mercy Medical Center. Samuel joins big brother Andrew. Grandparents are Roy and Gloria DeBower and Mike and Arlene Wenzel, of Marshalltown.

Javier Lemus Cisneros, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a pre-trial violation charge and a violation of a no-contact order charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his cases. Previously set pre-trial conference for 1:30 p.m. on April 5 and a jury trial for 9 a.m. on April 11 are still on the docket. A contempt hearing is set for the violation of a no-contact order for 3 p.m. on March 11. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order was issued for the protected party.

Kevin Waltemeyer, 804 Washington St., made an initial appearance on two counts of a harassment-first degree charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his cases. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on March 11. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only. A no-contact order was issued for the protected party.

Deven Ray Spinks, of Boone, made an initial appearance on four counts of a probation violation charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his cases. A probation revocation hearing for all charges was set for 2:30 p.m. on March 11. Bond is set at $6,000 cash only.

Joseph Harmon, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a serious domestic assault charge, a harassment-first degree charge, a obstruction of emergency communications charge and a interference with official acts charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his cases. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on March 11. The court ordered that if he possessed any firearms or ammunition, Harmon is to make arrangements with the Marshall County Sheriff's Office to surrender them until the conclusion of these cases. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only. A no-contact order was issued for the protected party.

Emily Proffitt, 208 1/2 E. Church St., made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge and a speeding charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle her cases. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on March 20. Proffitt was released on her own recognizance.

William Ray Rhoades, of Cedar Rapids, made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a no insurance charge. He pleaded guilty to both charges. On the driving under suspension charge the fine was $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days of today's date. In lieu of the fine and surcharge, Rhoades may do 46 hours of community service plus pay the court costs of $60 to be completed by Sept. 1. The fine on the no insurance charge was $500 with a $175 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $735, due within 30 days of today's date. The court allowed for monthly installment payments of $50 beginning March 29 until the debt is paid.

Kenneth Dalton, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $65 with a $147.50 surcharge and $360 in court costs for a total of $572.70, due within 30 days of today's date.

He pleaded guilty to all charges.
