There has been a change in the Iowa State football schedule for this upcoming season
The Cyclones 2013 game with Tulsa will now be played on Sept. 26 in Oklahoma. The date change was made to accommodate a national television opportunity
The kick time and TV network carrying the game will be announced at a later date.
The Cyclones will begin the season against Northern Iowa at Jack Trice Stadium on Aug. 31.
Then the schedule gets sort of crazy. ISU will have two open dates in the next three weeks as the Cyclones do not play the week before the Iowa game on Sept. 14 or the week after.
Once the calendar hits the month of October though, Iowa State will not have anymore open dates.
The home schedule this season has Iowa State hosting Northern Iowa, Iowa, Texas, Oklahoma State, TCU and Kansas.
