Nolte, Cornman & Johnson P.C. released an audit report on the East Marshall Community School District in Gilman.
The district's revenues totaled $10,463,386 for the year ended June 30, 2012 a 1.7 6 percent percent increase from the prior year. Revenues included local tax of $3,234,991, statewide sales and services tax of $505,488, unrestricted state grants of $3,195,030, charges for service of $2,183,684, operating grants, contributions and restricted interest of $1,176,022, nonspecific program federal funding of $48,907, unrestricted interest of $17,071 and other general revenues of $102,193.
Expenses for district operations totaled $9,809,383, a 2.34 percent increase from the prior year. Expenses included $3,453,970 for regular instruction, $1,166,313 for special instruction and $995,605 for operation and maintenance of plant.
